Birthdays and pyjamas!

This is my new crochet book. I got it for my birthday and the cow is my favourite one (I think anyway - there is a lot to choose from and I do love the dragon!)

I just have to start - do I finish the crochet blanket and ripple blanket first or go diving into the animals?

And this is a little snap of my new PJ's. I love PJ's and could wear them all day! They were a bargain at £2! I have got 4 new pairs in the sales, I was running low - honest!

Above is my christmas sale gift to myself, you may not know but reindeer's are my favourites!!

I also have an obsession with tupperware so this was perfect!! I made a little nibble lunch in it for the next day at work - surprising how eating satsuma from a pot is much nicer than just peeling one and eating in!!

Here is this months - a monthly make for 2011 this was just a little experiment but my nephew enjoyed it!! I am hoping I will get the chance to make something else this month as well!

Frankenstein cupcakes

After making my halloween goodies for the pumpkin patch swap I have caught the halloween bug and have been thinking up edible halloween treats! Here is my first practice!

Frankenstein mint choc chip cupcakes! Displayed on my car boot find bat wing plates. I found these a few months ago and knew they would be perfect for halloween!

I painted my nails following a tutorial on you tube - not perfect but considering I don't have any of the kit required not too bad I say!!

Since being in York I have mostly spent money - grrr - but most things have been bargains - so not too bad! Above is my new plant - photo doesn't do it justice! It is a lovely spiky magenta pink flower! A bargain from the pound shop!
Then a trip to the works and a new book - I am addicted to recipe and craft books so this was perfect. Expect pictures and blogs of makes done from here soon!!

Then perhaps the best bargain of the day my new tins - 47p and 37p!!! Very very happy with these!

Beautiful patterns!

I love patterns and cant resist a bargain!! these onderful owls are definately smile making, and they only cost £1 - really cant complain!!

My brand new cake tins as well - 3 tins in total, each one nestling in the other, I love the gingerbread men! Now all I have to do is make the cakes to go in them, however trying to loose weight, so healthy cakes it is - do they exsist?

This is also a new purchase - my new wallet, currently I have a really big, grown-up purse, but I couldnt resist this one. So it became mine and only £1 so it not really a bad thing, is it?

Finally by lovely cupcake bowl, I hate to say it but £1 again. I am sure you can imagine what my flat is like - filled to the brim, with bargains!! Just looking at them makes me smiley and happy!

Work today was not too bad, everyone was quiet and getting on with things but we did enjoy a few jokes, why do elephants paint their feet yellow? ....................... so they can hide upside down in custard!! Why do elephants paint their toenails red? ................................ so they can hide in a cherry tree - have you ever seen an elephant in a cherry tree? I guess you would say no, must work then!!

On that note I better leave I think!
